The midfielder is considered one of United’s most exciting and promising players. He made headlines with his performances for the U23s, as well as training sessions at Carrington.
Despite making 11 appearances for Tunisia, he has yet to make his debut for the Reds, despite being promoted to the first team by Ralf Rangnick in February. However, the 19-year-old remains undaunted in his goal of reaching into the United squad.
He recently said: “All the experience that I have accumulated, I will embrace it, whether it’s in training, on the bench or even if I haven’t had the chance to play yet. But maybe in the future… As soon as the opportunity arises, I will use the experience I have and will show what I can do.”
Hannibal was only 19 years old at the start of the year but he is already a familiar player for Tunisia. He started every match for them in the FIFA Arab Cup and also made two appearances for North Africa in the Cup of African Nations.
Hannibal also said Rangnick encouraged him to work hard to find opportunities before the important World Cup qualifiers between Tunisia and Mali: “Of course, he encouraged us, because more and more players come to the World Cup. , that’s better for the club, but without any particular message.”
