(Sports News-F1 Racing News) Ferrari lost its chances of an absolute victory in Monte Carlo, much to the disappointment of the drivers and fans of the “war horse”. After this surprising game, the victory belongs to Perez, along with other notable stats.

Ferrari set a new record in Monaco, surpassing old rival McLaren in 12th place. Carlos Sainz finished second to help Ferrari start 1-2 here for the first time in five years, when Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen won 1-2.

Perez has never finished in the top 6 at Monaco, but this time he ranks teammate Verstappen at P3 and above. The Dutch driver finished fourth, a position he has not won (in dry conditions) since Alain Prost in 1985.
