TAMPA, Sept. 29, 2021 – University of South Florida men’s tennis alumni continue to thrive on the court professionally after their playing days with the Bulls. Below is our monthly look at their recent accomplishments on the ATP and ITF Tours (all rankings as of Sept. 20).

Roberto Cid | 2016
ATP Singles World Ranking of 283.
Earned one of the Dominican Republic’s two points against Tunisia in the 2021 Davis Cup World Group II after defeating Aziz Ouakaa, 6-4, 6-2 in September.
Recently competed in the qualifying draws for the U.S. Open in August (Lost vs. Roberto Marcora, 6-7(2), 3-6) and Wimbledon on June 28 (Lost vs. vs. Marc-Andrea Huesler, 6-7(7), 6-4, 1-6)
He battled in a third set loss against U.S. Open quarterfinalist Botic Van De Zandschulp. 6-3, 4-6, 6-7(4), in Meerbusch, Germany in August.

Alberto Barroso Campos | 2018
ATP Doubles Ranking 437.
ATP World Ranking of 786.
Recent success with partner Benjamin Winter Lopez, includes winning the ITF M15 Marbella in Spain in May, and making it to the ITF M15 Xativa finals in Spain in early August.

Peter Bertran | 2018
ATP World Ranking of 736.
ATP Doubles Ranking of 1283.
Advanced to the ITF M25 Pensacola quarterfinals in May after defeating Oscar Mesquida Berg, 6-4, 6-1. Went 4-1 in the event, including 2-0 in qualifying.
Was a semifinalist in the ITF M25 Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic, after his win over Evan Zhu, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
Was a Round of 16 participant in the ITF M25 Champaign in Illinois.
Justin Roberts | 2018
ATP World Ranking of 884.
ATP Doubles Ranking of 1115.
Recorded a quarterfinal appearance in the $15,000 ITF M15 Tbilisi, Georgia before falling to top seeded Alessandro Bega, 4-6, 2-6 in May.

Jakub Wojcik | 2021
ATP Singles World Ranking of 1531.
Currently holds a 6-2 record in future’s level tournaments
Made it to the quarterfinals of the ITF M15 Cairo after a three-set victory over Francesco Passaro, 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 in September.
